Dr. Ryde started flying drones in 2018 and began flying FPV that summer, Dr. Ryde attended his first 5” race in Albuquerque at the Balloon Museum and knew there was no turning back. Dr. Ryde spent some time at DroneSpace in Colorado Springs flying until they closed down. Dr. Ryde began competing in WHOOP races at FullSendFPV in Denver Colorado which was about 100 miles from where he lived in Leadville Colorado. Dr. Ryde has attended & competed in well over 20 races until he moved to Angel Fire, New Mexico in June of 2020. His love for FPV has continued to grow and have been encouraged by the Southwest Pod Racers, FullSendFPV, and Rekt Drones - Arizona crew! Dr. Ryde has met so many amazing people since beginning of his journey and he is truly humbled by the love and camaraderie from everyone who he has met. Dr. Ryde is another Whooptopia Veteran taking home 1st Place Advanced Class & 1st Place Team Racing Whooptopia 2021
