Step 1 – Measure & Prep
- 
Cut a piece of tape the same length as your tube. 
- 
Stick it to your bench as your template. 
- 
Leave ¼” of play on both ends. 
💡 Pro Note: Don’t cut LEDs flush to the tube—you’ll need that wiggle room.
Step 2 – Cut & Wire the LEDs
- 
Cut your LED strip to match the tape length. 
- 
Solder on 3-wire JST plugs. 
- 
⚡ Critical: Follow the flow of electricity—arrows on the strip must all face the same direction. 
💡 Pro Note: Every plug must follow the same path, or your chain won’t light.
Step 3 – Mount LEDs Inside the Tube
- 
Peel off the LED strip’s backing. 
- 
Hold upright and carefully slide into the tube. 
- 
Use a thin rod/pole to press the strip flat against the inside wall. 
- 
Ensure it’s straight, centered, and stuck evenly. 
💡 Pro Note: Work slow—the straighter the strip, the cleaner the glow.
Step 4 – Build Obstacles & Connect Runs
- 
Use daisy chain cables + 2-way JST plugs to connect tubes inside obstacles. 
- 
Always double-check your flow direction before sealing it up. 
💡 Pro Note: Test each tube individually before wiring into a full obstacle.
Final Checks
- 
Confirm all strips light individually. 
- 
Connect them in sequence. 
-
