weBLEED Pilot Team Captain: Jase “Borgslayer” Herweg

Jase “Borgslayer” Herweg is one of the true OGs of the FPV community. He began flying FPV drones in 2015 and has spent more than a decade competing in local, regional, and national racing events.

Jase is a founding member and the Chief Medical Officer of Team Whoop Trek. Throughout his FPV career, he has worked alongside numerous racing organizations and has become a respected community leader, race director, and chapter organizer throughout New England. His experience spans both 5-inch and micro-class racing, making him one of the most knowledgeable and versatile event organizers in the region.

Today, Jase’s primary focus is producing national-level racing events, providing live race commentary, and expanding awareness of the FPV community.

In late 2023, Jase partnered with me to transform the Northeast Whoop Championships from a regional race into the nationally recognized weBLEED Northeast Whoop Championships. Since then, weBLEED NEWC has grown into the second-largest micro-drone racing event in the United States and continues to be a powerhouse on the national racing scene.

Jase has also become one of the leading voices behind several major FPV racing events. For several years, he has served as a primary commentator for national events including Whooptopia and the weBLEEDfpv eSPORTS eSERIES.

In 2025, Jase became one of the founding administrators of WHOOPGROUP, an increasingly influential Facebook community that surpassed 16,000 members during its first year.

Jase has been a constant supporter of weBLEEDfpv, our events, and the entire FPV community. His leadership, knowledge, experience, and dedication make him an invaluable part of our organization.

I am proud to have Jase “Borgslayer” Herweg serving as the weBLEED Pilot Team Captain, and I look forward to continuing our mission of bringing the excitement and joy of micro FPV flight to pilots around the world.
